Obama Blend

With unabashed admiration for our nation's 44th president, we developed our Obama Blend. Barack Obama's lineage and early life are associated with three of the world's prime coffee-growing regions. Born in Hawaii to a Kenyan father and American mother, Obama spent eight of his first 10 years living in Indonesia. Obama Blend contains three outstanding coffees that grow in Kenya, Hawaii and Indonesia—Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy, Kenya AA, and Indonesian Sulawesi. When brought to a Vienna roast, the highly-prized Hawaiian Kona gives the Obama Blend a full body and a mild and mellow character; the Kenya AA adds a wine-like flavor, and the Indonesian Sulawesi provides unexpected interest with its earthy taste, slightly smoky tone, and hints of spice.
